OK, now here’s the changes we would make for the AL, first if we did not have to account for every team being represented.

 

In the AL, make the following changes to the starting lineup:

C: Stephen Vogt (he is a reserve, but should have been voted in)

2B: Brian Dozier (bump Jose Altuve to the bench, taking Mark Teixeira’s spot on the roster) – NOTE: he is a last-minute replacement in place of Jose Bautista

OF: JD Martinez (he is a reserve, but should have been voted in and while Alex Gordon won’t play due to injury, he shouldn’t have been voted to the team)

 

Here’s the changes to the AL bench:

1B: Jose Abreu for Jose Bautista

SS: Xander Bogaerts for Jose Iglesias

3B: Alex Rodriguez for Mike Moustakas

OF: Yoenis Cespedes for Jason Kipnis

 

Here’s the changes to the AL pitching crew:

Hector Santiago for Brad Boxberger

Andrew Miller for Zach Britton

 

With the scenario of every team having to be accounted for, then leave Jason Kipnis on the roster and drop Alex Rodriguez.

 

OK, now here’s the changes we would make for the NL, first if we did not have to account for every team being represented.

 

In the NL, make the following changes to the starting lineup:

OF: A.J. Pollock for Matt Holliday (Sterling Marte should be on the roster for Holliday, who is injured and won’t play in the game regardless)

 

Here’s the changes to the NL bench:

1B: Joey Votto for Kris Bryant

1B: Adam Lind for Joc Pederson

 

Here’s the changes to the NL pitching crew:

Clayton Kershaw for Shelby Miller

Johnny Cueto for Madison Bumgarner

Jake Arrieta for Carlos Martinez

Michael Wacha for Aroldis Chapman

Francisco Liriano for Mark Melancon

 

With the scenario of every team having to be accounted for, then leave Shelby Miller on the roster and drop Michael Wacha.
