Variety continues to exemplify this show, as you will see yet again on Episode #126 of THE FDH LOUNGE (Tuesdays, 7-10 PM EST on SportsTalkNetwork.com).
After The Opening Statements of The FDH Lounge Dignitaries and This Week in The FDH Lounge, we recap last week’s fateful return of Lebron James to Cleveland before welcoming back our pal, Truth in Government activist/leader Joe DioGuardi. He is a former New York congressman just coming off of a run for the US Senate and he’ll share his experiences on the campaign trail as well as his perspectives on how this country has to get a grip on the spiraling national debt problem.
We take another turn at the top of Hour Two legendary talk show host Chris “Mad Dog” Russo. After nearly two decades at the top of New York radio, he took his show to HIS OWN CHANNEL on Sirius radio in 2008. How sweet is that? We’re sure he’ll still be in a great mood since his beloved San Francisco Giants just won their first World Series since they hit the coast in ’58 and we’ll break down that and all other consequential developments in the world of sports. From there, one of America’s great singer-songwriters, Jim Peterik, makes his Lounge debut. His biggest musical feat was forming one of the biggest bands of the 1980s, Survivor (fronted for a time by a friend of the show, Jimi Jamison). We’ll talk about what he’s been up to as well as his thoughts as a musical professional about the 30-year anniversary of the shooting death of John Lennon.
In Hour Three, The FDH Lounge Pigskin Report breaks down a weekend of NFL action in which quite a few of the league’s would-be elite teams faced defining moments. We’ll analyze how playoff seedings and the road to the Super Bowl were affected. Then, in Part Two of the Report, we analyze bowl matchups prior to our College Football Bowl Draft. We’ll each pick six teams in a standard serpentine draft, with five points going to winners of a bowl game, an additional two points for winners of a BCS bowl game and an additional point on top of that for the winner of the BCS Title Game. Then, THE FANTASY DRAFTHELP.COM INSIDER closes out the show with our big NFL Week 14 preview. We remind you also to consult our fantasy – and non-fantasy – hoops guide, FANTASY HOOPS DRAFTOLOGY 2010. Click and enjoy! Also, remember that for your football needs, you should be using our FANTASY FOOTBALL DRAFTOLOGY 2010 as your guide through the season, along with our weekly fantasy newsletter at The FantasyDrafthelp.com Blog – which, during the football season, has your list of which players to start each week.
As always, we urge you to watch the show live (or listen if you’re on dial-up), but if you can’t catch this as it’s happening, you can always catch the FDH archives 24-7 right here or catch us on iTunes. Also, you can sample THE FDH LOUNGE VAULT, a compilation of our best interviews and roundtables, now every weeknight from 6-7 PM, also on SportsTalkNetwork.com.
