After showing "Vintage" Randy Orton backstage grimacing at the camera, JBL came out for the I-C Title match delivering a condescending promo on the home folks. Rey Rey then entered with an outer mask after his regular mask meant to resemble The Joker, but instead making it look like Insane Clown Posse had somehow invaded WrestleMania.
Lillian Garcia gave the old-school ring intros before the match got underway.
Ultimately, it was over before it began. JBL blindsided Rey with a kick to the head before the match got underway and then the ref held him back. When the action got underway, it was all Rey, leading to a quick 6-1-9 and then the frog splash for a quick three-count and a new Intercontinental Champion.
Afterwards, JBL got on the mic again and yelled, "I quit!" He sold a look of disbelief before heading to the back.
