FDH Lounge #146: May 3, 2011

By Rick Morris

THE FDH LOUNGE (Tuesdays, 7-9 PM EST on SportsTalkNetwork.com) hits the interesting and topical yet again this week.

After The Opening Statements of The FDH Lounge Dignitaries and This Week in The FDH Lounge, we start with a guest we’ve previously enjoyed having on the show: Apprentice Season 2 winner Kelly Perdew. At other times, we’ve discussed his business ventures such as the fantasy sports entities Fastpoint Games and RotoHog. And we’ll touch on that as well, but Kelly is coming on this week’s show specifically to share his insights as a one-time Army Ranger and military intelligence officer – in so doing, we’ll gain some insight about how special operations forces operate under circumstances like the bin Laden kill.

From there, we bring in a star of one of cable TV’s biggest shows of the moment: Rima Fakih of WWE’s Tough Enough. Oh, and she’s also the reigning Miss USA! We’ll talk about her efforts to secure a WWE contract and her charitable work on behalf of Gilda's Club NYC, Susan G. Komen, Best Buddies, Project Sunshine, USO and the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance.

Hour Two brings us an extended version of THE FANTASYDRAFTHELP.COM INSIDER and our comprehensive review of the NFL Draft. We’ll be referring quite liberally to our preview materials in PRO FOOTBALL DRAFTOLOGY 2011, the publication from your pals at FDH and our associates in The 21st Century Media Alliance.

As always, we urge you to watch the show live (or listen if you’re on dial-up), but if you can’t catch this as it’s happening, you can always catch the FDH archives 24-7 right here or catch us on iTunes.
