By Rick Morris
We saw only two possessions in the first quarter of the Super Bowl, which was a new record.
Brady was a bit unsteady on that ankle on the first drive, and it was more methodical than most we've seen from New England this year, but it ended with a 1-yard TD run from Maroney on the first play of the second quarter. 7-3 New England.
The Pats squib the next kickoff out of bounds by mistake and New York takes over at their own 40. Has Kevin Gilbride pulled his head out of his posterior? We'll soon find out.
