Super Bowl Liveblogging Part VIII

By Rick Morris

The Pats won their challenge and continued to drive, but a big sack on Brady set up 4th and 13 from the 31 yard line and a bomb to Gaffney in the end zone that wasn't even close to completion leads to the turnover on downs.

I just had a question posed to me by my friend, former SportsTalkNetwork.com host Nick Despones about whether this turnover could be a turning point (because I had exclaimed aloud that New England winning the challenge would be a turning point before I pleaded, "Prove me wrong, God!"). I answered that the Giants could get a big boost right here, but only if aliens abduct Kevin Gilbride and someone else, anyone, even somebody from the stands, replaces him.
